Presenter: Simon Sulyma
BIO: Simon is a highly skilled, respected and recognized cyber security professional with over 16 years of experience in IT security architecture, governance, risk, and compliance. Simon is very passionate about cutting-edge technologies such as cloud, big data, IoT, AI, and has a deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in a number of cybersecurity domains. Simon currently works at Manulife as a Senior Director of IT Audit.
Topic: Legacy is one of the oldest and easiest machines ever released by Hack The Box. It is vulnerable to two critical vulnerabilities in the Windows realization of Server Message Block (SMB) protocol. Simon will show you how easy it is to exploit them and get root access, as well as explain how hackers think using the Cyber Kill Chain model.
