All IEC committees must follow the guidelines and policies set out by the HTCIA. These policies can be reviewed here.

The HTCIA has a number of committees that are key to the success of the organization:

Ambassador Committee

Mission: Support and create international chapters in a sound manner and in accordance with HTCIA Mission/Vision, and business strategy. Ensure compliance with regional laws.
Area of responsibility: International expansion

Audit Committee

Committee: JJ McLean, Majid Hassan
Mission: Audit financial processes at all levels and recommend corrective actions. Insure HTCIA provides quality services to our membership in a fiscally sound manner.
Areas: Fiduciary responsibility, governance, and controls

Awards Committee

Mission: Help ensure HTCIA appropriately and timely honors recipients of the Lifetime Achievement, Case of the Year, Chapter of the Year, President’s Award and other categories as deemed appropriate.

Bylaws Committee

Mission: To revise and improve the HTCIA Bylaws to conform to new policies and procedures.
Area of responsibility: Chapters, International Office, membership

Bylaws Committee

Mission: To manage and clarify HTCIA Bylaws to conform with California Corporation Law, and HTCIA policies and procedures; to enable scalable growth.

Conference Committee

Mission: Management and planning of current year’s conference. All issues pertaining to the HTCIA International Conference & Training Expo

Ethics and Misconduct Committee

Mission: Conduct fair and impartial hearing for allegations concerning member or officer misconduct when necessary. Discipline of an individual member, chapter officer, committee member, or executive officer.

Marketing & Communications Committee

Mission: Insure HTCIA provides timely communication to the membership regarding matters of professional interest and inform the public at large regarding HTCIA. Website (www.htcia.org), social networking, marketing and public relations

Membership Committee

Mission: Retention and recruitment of qualified members. Address issues affecting membership, such as new member applications/processing, new chapter procedures, member complaint/misconduct and chapter suspensions.
